Project Rescue & Coordination

For stalled, neglected, or multi-vendor work that needs an experienced person to organize the facts and keep the next steps moving.

Franklin, Highlands, Cashiers, and nearby Western North Carolina. Remote review by agreement when the information is sufficient.

When this is useful

  • A stalled project with unresolved decisions or unclear ownership
  • A multi-vendor repair or renovation with dependent scopes
  • An owner or manager who needs defined support through the next decision or milestone

What you receive

  • Clarify responsibilities and unresolved decisions
  • Sequence dependencies and coordinate communication
  • Track vendors, decisions, and open items
  • Stay involved through the agreed milestone—or hand off a clean plan

You receive a responsibility map, a dependency and action list, a decision log, concise progress reports at the agreed interval, and a milestone handoff showing open items. The scope names who makes decisions and what Hewnigan is authorized to coordinate. Further involvement requires another agreed milestone; a retainer is not required.

The boundary

One project through a written milestone, with agreed time, visits, meetings, and reporting. No directing trades, managing construction means or site safety, approving spending, certifying work, or guaranteeing schedule or completion.

Contractors and trades remain responsible for their contracts, work, and site safety. The owner retains decisions about contracts, spending, changes, and acceptance. Work requiring a licensed professional belongs with the applicable provider.

Fictional example — format only

In the fictional facility example, the next milestone is a comparable, clarified set of proposals. Hewnigan can track vendor questions and owner decisions through that milestone, then hand over the matrix and open-item log. Construction oversight is outside that example engagement.

Start with a review. Stop there—or keep going if it helps.

Services are quoted individually. The written engagement sets the scope, documents or visits included, deliverables, exclusions, fee, payment terms, and timing before paid work begins. An assessment or review can stand alone; continuing support is optional.
